My counseling philosophy is grounded in hope, dignity, and the belief that healing and growth are possible. As we move through different stages of life, we may need to reexamine our needs, behaviors, perspectives, or relationships. My goal is for each person to leave counseling with a stronger understanding of themselves, greater confidence in their ability to respond to challenges, and practical tools they are increasingly willing and able to use. I am a compassionate counselor dedicated to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of children and families through strengths-based, trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate, and client-centered care. While I utilize a variety of evidence-based interventions to meet my clients’ needs, my work often draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
