Hello, my name is Cirila Santillano. I see adults aged 18 and over. I am dedicated to working with those who seek to address stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal thoughts, and other challenges. I also work with couples where stress, life transitions, relationship and attachment concerns, cultural factors or trauma are present. Support and guidance are an essential part of the therapeutic process for clients as they identify and utilize strengths to overcome life's challenges and hardships. During this work, I am committed to helping clients reinforce connections with others and themselves, while they develop a deeper understanding of their environment, their needs, and potential areas of personal growth. Using evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions, I help individuals and couples learn to cultivate resilience and guide them towards creating meaningful and lasting change in their lives. My clinical experience includes the use of various therapeutic modalities such as Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I have experience working with multicultural issues, crisis intervention and suicide prevention, and trauma-informed systems.
I am a veteran of the U.S. Army. I am bilingual and offer services in both English and Spanish. I havea Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Oregon State University. To schedule an appointment please call (541) 241-6794 or send an email to cirila@valhallamhg.com, please include your name, phone number, and a brief description of the concern or service you would like to access.

My goal is to help individuals, couples and families experience healthier and happier lives and relationships by providing them with a safe and accepting space to navigate and overcome the challenges they’re facing. I work with clients to discover their strengths while helping them to understand the “why” of negative patterns and how to make healthy changes.
I strive to create a therapeutic process that is encouraging, enlightening, and empowering through educating and supporting my clients. I primarily work with clients who have experienced or are experiencing life transitions and stressors, anxiety, depression, marriage/relationship distress and family conflict.
My approach is collaborative, strength based, and systems oriented. I believe the client/therapist relationship is an important and powerful component of change and as a result, work from a place of compassion, acceptance, and transparency.
I am also a certified yoga instructor and integrate breathwork and mindfulness into my counseling practice.
I have been in the mental health and social and emotional learning field for over ten years and am grateful to have the opportunity to continue to learn, grow and support clients to find greater wellbeing and live their best lives.
